About Jacqui
I first visited the Hawaiian islands when I was 21 (back in 1984) and was immediately touched by a sense of ‘coming home’. Hawaii is an extraordinary mix of traditional healing and the modern (the surfers paradise!) ... but actually one and the same spirit drives both on – pure energy (MANA) – and there is PLENTY of that in Hawaii! This is combined of course with a healthy dose of balancing serenity and laid back pace of life.
This paradise lived deep in my spirit for a further 20 years, until its spark was rekindled by discovering the life changing healing bodywork called LomiLomi. I had already been practising Indian Head Massage and Reiki for several years, and had been drawn to searching for a hands-on healing system that involved a wonderfully relaxing massage and at the same time, providing recipients and the giver with an empowering philosophy. LomiLomi resonated with me completely and I immediately knew that this is what I had been looking for. I have trained with several wonderful Kumu (teachers) who have a profound depth of knowledge carried through their ancestry for centuries. I have truly found what I love doing and am honoured to be able to bring you this bodywork. I practice Huna, the spiritual philosophy of Hawaiians, and believe that everything is connected as ONE. Forgiveness is a daily practice and also a core aspect of Huna. My role as a Hawaiian bodywork practitioner is to remove any limiting beliefs from within that may be blocking the channels that connect us to all things. By removing what does not belong, what we no longer have a need for, all that remains is LOVE.
I welcome you to the tranquil sanctuary of my treatment room at my home in Forest Row, where I look forward to giving you a taste of the traditional Hawaiian spirit and a truly unique massage, bodywork and healing experience.

I originally trained in holistic massage, but was quickly converted to LomiLomi when I received my first massage a couple of years ago.
I went on to train with Carrie Rowell and was particularly taken with the tandem, four handed massage which is a truly wonderful treatment.
I offer both this (with Jacqui) and two handed LomiLomi from either the treatment room in Forest Row or at your own home if you prefer.
